Rebellion Consulting are proud to have successfully lead the build and launch of a digital insurtech start-up into 2 European markets.
Rebellion Consulting were engaged in early 2018 to lead the development and delivery of iptiQ a new digital insurance startup in Switzerland incubated by Swiss Re using a B2B2C business model.
IptiQ partners with huge retail brands with little or no insurance proposition and provides a digital insurance backbone including full operations, call centre, claims handling and an innovative technical insurance platform.
Starting from a vision and business case we lead the delivery of the overall platform, including a brand new microservices, cloud-first technology strategy and agile/ DevOps delivery model.
This included launching 2 brand new insurance products (one of them Cyber) into the first 2 target markets Germany and Switzerland and successfully launching with iptiQ's first partner.
We were responsible for managing and working with multiple partners, consultancies and independent contractors throughout the 2 year assignment including a distributed workforce based in Switzerland, Poland, Bulgaria, Greece and the UK totalling over 65 individuals.
